Q: Can anyone rent equipment?
A: Yes. Any individual can open an account with us to rent equipment.
Q: What do I need to open an account?
A: We require a valid drivers license and credit card to open an account.
Q: Do I need a deposit or production insurance to rent equipment?
A: We encourage people to carry production insurance, but we realize that's not
a viable option for all our clients. In situations where the equipment value is
less then $20,000 we will accept a credit card deposit. The size of deposit
varies on the equipment value.
Q: If I rent equipment when is the earliest I can pick it up?
A: Our hours of operation are 8:30am - 5:00pm (Monday to Friday). Depending on
availability, we will allow clients to pick up their equipment the day before
their rental at the end of day.
Q: When do I have to return the equipment?
A: Equipment must be returned no later then 10:00am the day after the rental
period. Unless predetermined arrangements have been made.
Q: Am I responsible for the full cost of replacement or repair if the equipment
is damaged or lost while it's in my possession?
A: Yes you are fully responsible for the care and safety of the equipment.
Q: What do I do if the equipment fails to work properly?
A: Contact us as soon as you notice any problems and we will replace the
defective item if a reasonable replacement is available. Should we not have an
adequate replacement, we will credit the item. If the malfunction is a result of
operator error no credit will be given and extra charges may be incurred.
Service & Sales Department Q: What brands of equipment do you repair?
A: We are authorized service depot for Panasonic Industrial & Broadcast, Hitachi
Display Products, NEC Display Products and we also repair many other brands.
Q: How do I qualify for PST exemption?
A: You will be required to fill and submit the "Ontario Retail Sales Tax
Purchase Exemption Certificate".
Q: Will I receive a quote before any work is done?
A: Yes, we will provide you a quote on the total amount of work to be done,
however there is a non-refundable estimate fee of $85.00 plus tax.
Q: How long does the repair generally take?
A: Depending on the problem it can take a couple of days to a couple of months.
Occasionally a part will be backordered from the manufacturer.
Q: Do you provide warranty on the work that has been done?
A: We provide a 90 day warranty on all work.
